I graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s prestigious School of the Arts. I majored in Communication Arts & Design and minored in Art History.
As a student I was honored to be included in several juried art exhibitions--I even won some awards. These include "Best in Category" for 1708 Gallery's Wearable Art competition and Third Place for an illustration design commissioned by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Most recently I published my first children's book, Lizzie Fox-Top, which is available in 5 different stores across 4 states. Or might I suggest you buy it on amazon.com. You also may have seen my work on the cover of Richmond's Brick Weekly or in the 2007 volume of Poictesme literary journal, where I served as Art Editor and contributed my graphic design skills...as well as some mediocre poetry.
At present I live in the exurbs of southeastern Pennsylvania and pass the time as a freelance illustrator and elementary school substitute teacher. I have a pretty awesome family, two friendly dogs and an orange cat named Dexter (after the fictional serial killer).
